THE PROSECCO SUPERIORE WINE PRODUCTION AREA
The Glera grape reigns supreme in the Prosecco Superiore DOCG (Controlled and Guaranteed Designation of Origin) wine production area, while Valdo’s years of experience allows them to apply their winemaking talent, enhancing all this grape’s properties.
Over the 90 years of devotion to the vineyard, wine and management of the winery, Valdo has been able to establish a Prosecco culture across the world, and year after year receives prestigious awards.
Technology, passion, innovation and tradition have created a fully monitored production process that ensures the extraordinary quality of each bottle carrying the Valdo label, every day.
Strengthened by experience and inspired by a tireless love for Prosecco Superiore, today Valdo continues to write its own history, a tale of grape harvest after grape harvest and of unique Spumante able to conquer the most sophisticated hearts and palates.
PROSECCO SUPERIORE VALDOBBIADENE
The excellence of Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore comes from scrupulous care taken at all stages of the Valdo production line: from perfectly ripened grapes on the vine to the fermentation process (either the Charmat Method or the Classic Method) right up to the bottling and packaging stage.
The Valdo Wineries currently have two production sites, stationed over a total surface area of 20,000 m².
The original winery is situated right in the centre of Valdobbiadene. The traditional Valdo headquarters where ninety years of know-how have been honed into a semi-artisanal form of production for the indisputably excellent Prosecco Superiore di Valdobbiadene.
The recently constructed and technologically cutting-edge new winery is better suited to interpreting Valdo’s innovative tendencies, continually striving towards new heights of sparkling wine excellence while holding onto the traditional values accumulated over almost a hundred years of company tradition.
Guaranteed and certified quality.
